A federal investigator informs Annie that this same man is wanted for murder in another city. Santa a killer?
2. HAPPY NEW YEAR 1958 WITH GUY LOMBARDO AND HIS ROYAL CANADIANS. Live from New York City, it's the famous bandleader and his orchestra ringing in the new year in this fullycomplete 60-minute show, which also contains original commercials. Join Guy as he plays the hit songs of past years and awaits the arrival of 1958. It's all here: the excitement, the fun, and the live cutaways to Times Square! 718 A CHRISTMAS COMPILATION

We've had several requests to combine many of our previous Christmas-oriented programs onto one 90-minute tape, and we've done just that. Remember these shows have been previously released on other Shokus cassettes (catalog numbers are listed below).
1. THE GEORGE BURNS AND GRACIE ALLEN SHOW (12/20/51). George and Gracie welcome Gracie's sister and her daughters for the holidays. (From tape #202).
2. SEE IT NOW (12/23/51). The award-winning Edward R. Murrow hosts this special holiday show, which features Christmas greetings "live" from coaxial cable hook-ups around the country, including New York, Hollywood, Omaha, Cincinnati, Chicago and others. 3. THE PAUL WINCHELL SHOW (12/17/53). Paul and Jerry Mahoney celebrate the yuletide season as Paul flashes back to his early courting years. (From tape #462).

732 THE BURNS AND ALLEN HOLIDAY HOUR

Join George Burns and Gracie Allen in two holiday-oriented shows that have not been seen since their original broadcasts! Both programs contain original commercials.
1. "THANKSGIVING SHOW" (11/22/51). George and Gracie are having a Thanksgiving dinner at their home...but not before Gracie causes trouble between Blanche and Harry - he's betting on horses but Gracie thinks he's been unfaithful to Blanche.
2. THE GEORGE BURNS SHOW (12/23/58) - "La Vie en Rose". Gracie retired at the end of the 1957/58 season, but George decided to continue the show without her. It's essentially the same show, except now the emphasis is on George, who runs a talent agency, and Blanche (Bea Benaderet) is his secretary. Harry Von Zell, Larry Keating and Ronnie Burns all co-star, continuing their roles from the original series. In this episode, as Christmas draws near, Von Zell and Blanche decide to butter George up so they'll get nice gifts, while George tries to keep one of his working clients from returning to France for the holidays.

729 THE JACK BENNY HOLIDAY HOUR

Jack and his gang always put on great shows during the holidays, and here are two live shows that really shine bright! Both shows contain original commercials!
1. THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM (12/18/55). Jack's guests are Frances and Edgar Bergen. Jack wants Edgar to appear on his annual Christmas show, so he pays the Bergens a visit and is shocked to learn something about Charlie and Mortimier!
2. THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM (12/28/54). In another live re-creation of his annual New Year's Eve show performed since his radio days, Jack's date falls through and he's left with nothing to do to ring in the new year. If you already have the other version of this program on show #709, watch for subtle differences in jokes and in the casting of some of the supporting players.

731 THE ORIGINAL "DRAGNET" HOLIDAY COLLECTION

1. ".22 RIFLE FOR CHRISTMAS" (1952). New to home video, this classic episode features Herb Ellis as Frank Smith. A 10-year-old boy is given a rifle as a Christmas present and he accidentally shoots his best friend. The show is complete with original Chesterfield cigarette commercials.
2. "THE BIG CHRISTMAS" (1953). Originally released on our tape #712. Friday and Smith try to find the thief who stole the Baby Jesus from a Catholic church on Christmas Eve. Ben Alexander co-stars as Frank Smith. (New to DVD)
3. "THE BIG THANKSGIVING" (1955). Putting their holiday on hold, Friday and Smith must find the man responsible for beating up women on city streets. From tape #468. (New to DVD)
4. "THE BIG NEW YEAR'S EVE COP KILLER" (1955). A police officer is gunned down and the detectives must break the news to the cop�s wife during her New Year�s Eve party. Originally released on program #714.

Join Red for holiday fun in these two hilarious shows. The first is complete with original commercials!

2. DEAR PHOEBE (1954). Peter Lawford stars as a newspaper columnist in this sitcom, complete with original commercials. In this holiday show, he tries to reunite a boy with his father.
3. LIFE WITH ELIZABETH (1954). Betty White stars in 3 short husband-and-wife sketches. The second deals with hidden Christmas presents.
4. MEET CORLISS ARCHER (1954). The Christmas episode in this series based on the radio show finds the Archers curious about each other's Christmas gifts.

1. CHESTERFIELD SUPPER CLUB Starring PERRY COMO (11/20/49). A rare kinescope featuring Perry and his special guest Raymond Massey, who, in honor of Thanksgiving, gives a patriotic performance as Abraham Lincoln. Complete with cigarette commercials.
2. YOU ASKED FOR IT (1951). A Christmas program featuring host Art Baker, as well as a balloon toy maker doing his thing, marines singing hymns, and two characters recreating a scene from a popular yuletide play. Some commercials included.
3. THE PAT BOONE CHEVY SHOWROOM (12/5/57), also complete with original 1958 car commercials. This show features lots of Christmas music, as well as guests Stubby Kaye and Jimmy Nelson with Danny O'Day and Farfel.
